I had been quite taken with this adorable little bag by Topshop and frequently added it to my shopping cart on the online store. Never to go process through check-out. I wasn't sure I would wear it that much and eversince my severe French designer's handbag frenzy (including several pieces by Jerome Dreyfuss and one by wonderful Velvetine), I have been trying to avoid falling for €30-something purses. Nevertheless, I daydreamed about several outfits that could fit this little heart full of love to perfection and decided to pursue the beast (long sold-out on topshop.com) on Ebay.
In the meantime, a little something blue, something blue caught my attention.

Now, this lovely navy dress featured on one of my favorite online store (Ruche) has a bunch of great details that somehow promise to end the summer with style. A bit of nostalgia, an air of longing escapes this adorable piece 100% cotton.
Of course, a dress that would hopefully look nice on me and at such affordable price would stay on my mind all day, all week and all week-end.
The bag would somehow lean towards a rock-chic style that I wish I would achieve, while the romantic dress would happily satisfy my craving for cute dresses, not to mention that this particular type of clothes have officially been voted best friend of Summer 09 for being so light to wear, so handy to grab in the closet and so easy to mix.
The dress won. Too cute to miss. I might have grown tired of the peculiar little bag. But hopefully, the dress will look nice on me.
